Article Preparation information
1. Manuscript Scope and Language
The World Journal of Young and Excellent Scholars (JYES) invites submissions of high-quality original research, reviews, and short communications. Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English; non-native speakers are strongly advised to use professional editing services prior to submission. All submitted work must be original, falling strictly within the journal's scope (see Journal Information), and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. General Formatting and Layout
Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts using the official JYES LaTeX template (see Author Guidelines) to ensure compliance with formatting standards. The document layout must be set to US Letter paper size with 1-inch margins on all sides. The text must be rendered in a sans-serif typeface. To facilitate the peer-review process, the manuscript must use 1.5 line spacing, and continuous line numbering must be enabled throughout the document.
3. Title Page and Front Matter
The first page must contain the research title, author names, and affiliations. JYES requires two specific sections immediately following the author details: a list of KEYWORDS and a bolded OVERVIEW statement. The Overview must identify the research problem and the proposed solution's impact prior to the formal Abstract. The Abstract itself should be presented as a single, unnumbered narrative paragraph without citations.
4. Section Structure and Content
Manuscripts should be organized into standard academic sections, typically comprising Introduction, Related Work, Method, Experiments and Results, and Discussion/Conclusion. However, authors may adopt a different outline if it better suits the nature and presentation of their work. The Introduction must clearly define the problem statement and research gap, concluding with contributions. The Method section should detail algorithms or system architectures, while Experiments describe datasets, metrics, and statistical baselines.
5. Tables, Figures, and Code
Visual elements must be of high quality. Figures should be high-resolution with captions placed below the image. Tables must have captions placed above and adhere to the booktabs style (using \toprule, \midrule, and \bottomrule without vertical lines). If software implementation is included, code snippets should be formatted with the listings package according to the template.
6. Mathematics and References
Mathematical equations should be numbered sequentially and defined using standard LaTeX environments. Ensure all symbols are defined upon their first appearance. References must be formatted according to the IEEE Transactions style, with numeric citations enclosed in square brackets (e.g., [1], [2]). The bibliography should be generated automatically using a .bib file to ensure accuracy.
